  • What are some recent projects?

    Large Beer Distributorship

One of our consulting engineers was involved in facilitating the expansion of a major beer wholesaler to facilitate their distribution operations in Pittsburgh, PA. The Project included the design of two new structures; a new 80,000 sq. ft. Controlled Environment Refrigerated Warehouse and Drive-Thru Distribution Center, (CEW) for Anheuser-Busch Brewery Products and a 14,000 sq. ft. Point of Sale (POS) Building for Coors products.

The Project also included renovations to existing facilities; renovation of the existing Vehicle Fleet Maintenance Facility; and expansion of the existing Coors Brewery Distribution Center.

The entire CEW was designed and constructed to meet the specific needs of the customer as well as those requirements of the brewery.

    Large Department Store

We created an electrical design system for a large department store. Contract consisted of teledata, point of sale, security and building automation cabling. The design included:

Terminate, test and label all devices

Set and termination all equipment and fiber interface.

4500 dual category 5 cabling drops

10,000 LF of 12 multimode indoor fiber

    1500 fiber terminations

    120 fiber terminations

    8 communication closets

    5 communication closets

1 point of sale communication equipment room

Termination, labeling and testing of a 24MM/12SM hybrid Siecor fiber and a General Photonics 12MM 0 Micron fiber

Electrical Design of a Large Data Center

This project   provided design and construction services for an extreme density data center serving the Mine Health and Safety Administration as well as a COOP site for the Department of Labor.

This project was fast-tracked with the time from initial design to occupancy taking six months, as opposed to twelve months, as originally scheduled. Work included a 450KW generator, UPS systems, high capacity raised floor (600 pounds/sq. ft.), FE-25 fire suppression system, and extremely flexible power distribution system.

    Total contract value exceeded $2,100,000..
